Technology description

The ACS880 drive offers a compact cost-effective solution to meet the strictest harmonic requirements without the need for additional filters or special transformers. This offers significant savings in space, time and cost. The compact drive includes a low harmonic line filter and an active supply unit, which is able to boost output to guarantee full motor voltage even when the supply voltage is below nominal. This ensures reliable operation in unstable supply network conditions. The drive’s voltage boost capability also improves motor efficiency – with a higher voltage, the same power is achieved with less current.
