Unvulcanised Conti Thermo Protect can be modulated into almost any shape or form and is suitable for standard and flexible flanges, fittings and complex piping systems and assets. It is designed to insulate complex applications and save energy on these spots.

Chabel calculated the costs of insulation for a 1,500 mm diameter filter:

The costs for the applied insulation were about € 2,400, including assembly. The return time, in case of a surface temperature of 100°C at the surface of the filter (without insulation), and a gas price of € 0.25 / Nm3, is approximately 1.5 years.

Personal Protection, Getting down ambient temperature in production room, easier maintenance: insulation can stay on its place during operation of the filter, no change on fire, because CTP will not adsorb fluids.
