Engineering & Consultancy

Service Description

We as Bilfinger Tebodin are committed to support the industry at large in its transition to Net-Zero CO2-emissions. One of the focus areas for reducing industry’s carbon footprint is improvement of energy efficiency in (sometimes-neglected) supporting facilities, such as production- and office buildings. As of January 1, 2023, energy reduction for office buildings is not a voluntary choice: these buildings legally need at least energy label C. If not achieved and documented by then, you are legally no longer allowed to use it. In this area, innovative technologies for making buildings more energy efficient and healthier are known and regularly applied by us.

In support, we offer:

  • Investigate requirements and wishes.
  • Mapping the existing situation.
  • Advise of possibilities for improvement.
  • Calculation and issue of an official energy label.

Unique positioning

We see in many ongoing projects that in the industry attempts to reduce CO2-emissions by focusing on their core business, the process itself. What we on the other hand also often see, is that supporting production and office buildings have lot of potential for energy reduction. Especially compared to non-industry buildings.

Bilfinger Tebodin covers all project phases (from feasibility studies up to construction management) and relevant expertise to cover the industrial buildings and offices. We offer an holistic approach as we have all required disciplines in house for an integral approach. Out of the box, but well thought solutions can be expected due to our internal accessibility to knowledge and experience in architectural, structural, building services, electrical, energy and pipelines engineering.

In this way, BT can integrally improve your real estate. So not only have it compliant with energy regulations, but also improve indoor comfort and health. This improves the productivity and satisfaction of employees.
