Energy reduction by Steam as a Service

Brief description of services

Design, build, finance, maintain and operate (DBFMO) of state-of-the-art utility centres. The design aims for the best possible efficiency in conformity to current best practices of the technology. E.g. process heat losses (if present) are utilized to increase the temperature of the boiler feedwater, thus increasing the efficiency of the steam production.

Key features

  • Modern state-of-the-art design and equipment with the lowest possible energy consumption.
  • Unburdening (ontzorging) of the Asset Owner.

Applicable customer segments

  • Any asset owner with own boilerhouse and/or utility plant for steam and compressed air.

Business example

  • A DBFMO-project at a leading catalyst production company in an environmentally sensitive area. Replacement of an end-of-life existing boilerhouse.
  • Take-over, redesign, modifcation and conversion into steam-as-a-service concept of an existing boilerhouse of an edible oil refining and distribution company.

Key benefits

  • Unburdening of the asset owner.
  • Improvement of energy efficiency by 10%-15% (case dependent).
