Energy Efficiency sparks @ DCMR

60 engineers, 30 asset owners meet 7 project 6-25 technologies @DCMR event to accelerate energy efficiency

On June 20th approximately 60 engineers from some 30 asset owners have discussed 7 technologies from the Project 6-25 portfolio. All of these technologies are TRL 8/9 with a payback time of less than 5 years. The session was organised as part of the DCMR strategy to stimulate energy efficiency projects. This is done independent of the DCMR control activities and was organised with the municipality of Rotterdam.

7 technology companies presented their use cases on Heat & Storage:

• Stork
• Spilling
• S4 energy
• De Jong Combustion

The event gave the opportunity to engineers to very efficiently get into discussion with the technologies of their interest. Also, it added to being inspired by what other asset owners pursue. The event is part of the knowledge exchange purpose of Project 6-25:

Creating sparks in the engineers’ thoughts and plans, thus accelerating energy efficiency investments.
